Air Show Information

General Information Times Gates will be open from 8AM - 5PM on both Saturday & Sunday. Aircraft displays and interactive activities will be accessible during these times. Aerial performances begin at approximately 11AM and last to approximately 4:15PM. Due to security requirements, we are unable to release the exact performance schedule. Attending the Show Folding chairs are allowed, No ice chests allowed Wear comfortable foot-gear; there are some paved areas and mostly grass in others. You may walk long distances. Bring sun protection, hats, long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and sun screen are recommended Large bags, backpacks, ice chests and coolers will not be permitted Neither strollers nor wheelchairs will be available for rent at the air show Water will be available throughout the air show area

Lafayette Regional Airport is located on US Highway 90/Evangeline Thruway on the east side of the City of Lafayette.

From I-10 East & West

Exit I-10 via ramp at sign reading "Exit 103A US-167/US-90 and go south for 5.4 miles. Turn left at Kaliste Saloom Road. Follow the signs for air show parking at the Lafayette Regional Airport.

From I-49 North

Continue straight into Lafayette from I-49. As the freeway ends continue on US-90 South. Go south for 5.3 miles. Turn left at Kaliste Saloom Road. Follow the signs for air show parking at the Lafayette Regional Airport.

From US-90 South

While on Evangeline Thruway US-90, you will pass Broussard and there will be a McDonalds on your right. Go north 4.8 miles and take a right at Kaliste Saloom Road in front of Lafayette Regional Airport. Follow the signs for air show parking.

Parking We have parking options to fit your needs! Find out where to go when you get to the air show. General Parking General admission, commander's club and volunteers can access free parking by entering on tower drive from Highway 90/Evangeline Freeway. Handicap Parking Handicap parking will be available in a separate lot closer. There will be a shuttle traveling between the handicap parking lot and the show grounds every 15 to 30 minutes. To reach handicap parking area enter the airport at the main airport entrance on Blue Blvd. Proceed to the T at the end of Blue Blvd. DO NOT ENTER THE AIRPORT TERMINAL. The handicap parking area is in the grass lot to the right of the T. VIP Parking VIP parking will be available in a separate lot closer, just past the handicap parking lot. VIP parking is reserved for chalet sponsors.
